    HOW BAD PARENTING IMPACTS CHILDREN

Most parents dream that their child will grow up into a responsible happy person and reach their full potential. AGREED?

HOWEVER: evidence clearly shows that bad parenting really does get in the way of this and can leave children with lifelong emotional wounds and scares.

So, we have to take this very seriously and check our own parenting skills and take responsibility to upgrade them when we need too, just like you would if you wanted to succeed at anything in life.

While we are not striving to put pressure on ourselves to be a perfect parent, it is never wrong to try and be the best that you can be. Since we guide and mould or kids in everything we say and do, bad parenting can spell disaster for a child.

HERE ARE THREE WAYS BAD PARENTING IMPACTS A CHILD.

    1. BAD PARENTING CAN CAUSE PSYCHOLOGICAL DISORDERS IN CHILDREN AND THROUGHOUT THIR LIFETIME.

Bad parenting makes children profoundly more likely to suffer from psychological disorders such as depression, anxiety, addictive behaviours, mental and even physical health problems.
These children will find it hard to trust people and may push loved ones away or become isolated.

    2. BAD PARENTING CAN IMPACT A CHILD’S ABILITY TO BUILD POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHERS.

Children who have not been positively parented can become rebellious and demanding and spoilt.
They believe they have to have things their way and will play up to get what they want. It is not hard to see how this will negatively impact any relationship building. Right!

    3. BAD PARENTING CAN CAUSE LOW SELF-ESTEEM AND RUIN A CHILD’S CONFIDENCE.

A child who are parented using controlling, fear based, methods are often not encouraged to make choices for their self and may be constantly criticised, belittled and put down.

This spells disaster for a child’s self-esteem and confidence in life. They will develop negative limiting belief and never feel good enough, which can leave them feeling sad and lonely and they often can’t understand why.

I am sure you agree that it is easy to see why children fail to thrive and live their best life when they are parented badly. I am passionate about this, what are your thoughts? Leave your comments below.
