HOW RUTH CAN HELP

Working with you
not your child

Every child's behaviour is telling you something. We help you understand what's underneath it - and give you the tools to respond differently, to create a calmer home, a stronger relationship, and change that sticks.

All support follows The Parent's Guide to Children's Behaviour - a four-part positive parenting approach for children aged 0–18 (up to 25 with SEND), backed by the CANparent Quality Mark.

The result is change that lasts for generations,
not just weeks.

I HELP YOU UNDERSTAND WHy and what to do next…

HI I’M RUTH

Two colorful books about children's behavior and conduct, titled 'Parents Guide to Children's Behaviour' and 'Parent's Workbook for Children's Behaviour,' on a background with overlapping purple and blue concentric circles.

A young boy with blonde hair sliding down a playground slide outdoors, smiling and holding onto the side of the slide.

I've spent over 40 years working with children, families and the professionals who support them. In that time I've learned one thing above all: behaviour is communication. When you understand what your child is really telling you, everything gets easier.

I wrote The Parent's Guide to Children's Behaviour so parents could get to the root of behaviour instead of just managing it. In a session, we’ll get a clear picture of what's going on, and start taking practical steps towards harmony at home the same day - no judgement.
